Super Eagles skipper, John Obi Mikel has been appointed as the new skipper of the Chinese Super League club, Tianjin TEDA, in less than two weeks after joining the Chinese club.
Mikel scored his first goal in a friendly against German club FC St. Pauli – his second appearance for the club, having made his debut last week against Borussia Monchengladbach.
